How “have” is used as an Auxiliary verb
Have – as an auxiliary is used to form verbs in their perfect form in all tenses (affirmative, negative and interrogative)

Present Perfect:
- I have worked here for ten years
- Has John worked in New York?

Present perfect continuous:
- It has been snowing all night.
- Have you been running? Your face is very red.

Past Perfect:
- When I arrived the train had already left.
- Had you met his parents before last weekend?

Past Perfect Continuous:
- When I arrived at the match they had already been playing for 15 minutes.
- Meena hadn’t been running for even five minutes when she fell over and broke her leg.

Future Perfect:
- Ahmed will have finished at university by this time next year.
- Flora and April will have had five hours of classes by the end of the day.

Future Perfect Continuous
- By the end of the month I will have been working here for ten years. How time flies!
